      Rake in Play Money games

In order to create the most realistic poker room experience for all of our players, we charge a rake in our Play Money games, just like we do in real money games.

In our real money games, we take a small portion of each pot in cash games as compensation for providing our games and other player services such as Support. This payment is called rake.

Our Play Money games are charged with rake in a similar fashion. In Play Money cash games and Zoom games, the rake rate ranges from 5.5% to 9% (depending on the game format and stakes).

In tournaments the rake is paid on registration and consists of a small percentage of the buy-in. No per-hand rake is taken in tournaments; there is only an initial fee to enter.
